Description: Our Toronto area medical device client is hiring! They are looking for a seasoned, experienced Marketing Manager who will lead global communications and branding strategies in order to support business objectives. The position reports to the CEO and is a key position. Your reports will be composed of existing graphics and communications specialists. You will be in charge of communications for sales, marketing, strategy, initiatives related to advertising, special announcements. You will also work with various departments such as regulatory affairs, R&D, sales, product management so that global policies and procedures meet company brand guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Overall leadership for communications and branding on a global scale. - Development of content and messaging for global advertising, with collaboration with sales, regulatory affairs, and product management. - Creation of excellent advertising campaigns to support company's globally manufactured and distributed product offerings. - Devise, take charge of, and carry out strategic MARCOM plans. - Product labeling, brochures, guides related to company's global product offerings. - Build strong effective online social media strategy - e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and corporate blogs. - Design of graphics and visual communications. - Organizational relationship building. - Budgets, work plans re communications, meeting deadlines. - Handle the work of external vendors (e.g. graphic designers, web providers, printers, etc.) and suppliers. REQUIREMENTS: - BA/MBA in journalism or communications with a focus on marketing. - Technically savvy with full understanding of nature of products as well as ISO13485 regulations. - Skilled across all communication platforms: online and print, social media, towards building brand awareness and community engagement. - 5+ years managing corporate communications with brand management experience. - ****Preference for dental or healthcare industry experience. - Excellent project management skills. - Strong interpersonal, persuasion, presentation, planning skills. - Energetic, business-savvy, strategist who can execute and deliver business objectives. - Apple experience, including Adobe CS5 (In-design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat). - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe products and e-mail. - Able to meet deadlines. - Strong business acumen, effective team management, marketing experience, excellent research, writing and interpersonal skills. - Apply
